Vega is a big, strapping grullo roan stud colt (gelding clause applies) whose name is inspired by one of the brightest stars in the night sky—and he's already proving he's impossible to overlook. As the friendliest colt in this year's foal crop, Vega is always the first to wander over looking for scratches and attention, making friends with everyone he meets. Behind that sweet personality is a powerhouse of a prospect. One look at his massive hip and substantial build tells you this colt was made to work. Whether it's pulling bulls out of the pasture, stopping hard in the roping pen, heading steers, climbing mountains on a backcountry hunt, or putting in long days on the ranch, Vega has the strength, athleticism, and durability to do it all. Out of Moon, a big, soggy mare known for her gentle disposition and solid build, and sired by Gun, who consistently passes on good looks, athletic ability, and just the right amount of grit, Vega offers the complete package. If you're looking for a versatile horse with the mind to be your partner and the build to handle whatever job is in front of him, Vega is a colt you'll want to keep your eye on.
