Sol is a handsome black stud colt (gelding clause applies) whose name means "sun"—a fitting choice for a colt with the kind of presence and potential to brighten any program. While his sleek black coat catches your eye, it's his substance, athleticism, and inquisitive nature that truly set him apart. Sol is one of the last progeny of our beloved stallion Maverick, making him a special opportunity to own a piece of a bloodline that has consistently produced kind, capable, and versatile horses. His siblings are proving themselves in a wide range of disciplines, from all-around versatility and working equitation to speed events, demonstrating the athletic ability and trainable minds this cross is known for. Built as a soggy, substantial colt with plenty of bone and a naturally curious personality, Sol has all the makings of a dependable partner. Whether you envision him in the roping pen, spending long days in the mountains hunting or trail riding, or simply enjoying a horse that can confidently do a little bit of everything, Sol has the pedigree, disposition, and versatility to get you there. Opportunities to own one of Maverick's final offspring are becoming increasingly rare, making this colt one worth serious consideration.
